As it says by its name, my kids and their friends were my inspirations for this collection. Their wonderful imaginative minds and their little yet so great personalities challenge me in so many ways everyday and yet tickle my creative side.

I believe most children take great comfort in the colors and shapes of their rooms. It means there is a connection between them, and an environment of order and harmony. Their room is a place not only of comfort, but of familiarity. This sense of familiarity, in whatever form it takes, acts as a shield against the unpredictability and lurking chaos of the outside of their rooms. My work is one way to bring that warm familiar feeling to their rooms. I paint children favorite characters, animals and shapes in bright calming colors. I like to bring a touch of abstract into my work to encourage their imaginations. And to remind them there can be magic anywhere only if they believe in it.
